Actor Prudhvi Raj Gets Plum Post In SVBC

Star comedian Prudhvi Raj has been a vocal supporter of the YSR Congress Party from a long time.  Now, the party chief, Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, rewarded him with a plum post.

Prudhvi Raj has been appointed as the Chairman of the Sri Venkateswara Bhakthi Channel (SVBC,) the primary devotional channel of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD.)

Earlier, with the Telugu Desam Party losing the Legislative Assembly elections, K. Raghavendra Rao resigned as the Chairman of the Channel, with immediate effect.

Now, it remains to be seen what development measures Prudhvi Raj will take as the new head of the SVBC, to spread the Channel’s viewership outside the Southern states.
