Anand Deverakonda, as we know is the Deverakonda scion who is all set to make his Tollywood debut with Dorasani, the period drama set to release on July 12th, 2019.
The Junior Deverakonda sibling shared an interesting anecdote about his debut decision, which includes his brother, the South sensation Vijay Deverakonda’s reaction.
Anand said he disclosed the news when he was having lunch with his family, about his Tollywood dream.
Vijay suddenly laughed out loud and said ” Are you serious?” , when the answer was” why not?”, the Arjun Reddy star cautioned him about how things work out in Tollywood and how difficult it is to make it big in the showbiz, generally.
Anand replied he could get two to three movies, despite his debut being a hit or flop, as the brother of Vijay Deverakonda, but from then on it is his lone battle.

” “Being Vijay’s brother, I will have the luxury of getting two-three films despite the outcome of my debut film. After that, you will have to go through a lot of scrutiny as people get judgmental about your looks, acting, and several other aspects. To answer your question, I haven’t ever thought about it that way, neither have I looked at my brother’s star power to get me more films. I want to prove my mettle as an actor and work in different cinema. I have seen how Vijay deals with success and failure and I will also try to remain calm(sic.)”
