Director T.N. Krishna, who made his straight Tollywood debut with Hippi, starring Karthikeya Gummakonda and Digangana Suryavanshi, played down the divided talk about his movie.
The director recalled his debut movie in Tamil, Sillunu Oru Kadhal (2006) and the criticism it received way back in the past. He added, he was panned by viewers and critics alike for a dull love story then and now he is being blamed for Hippi.
Krishna added, he knows for sure, Hippi will one day be termed as a classic, just as Sillunu Oru Kadhal is celebrated today. Sillunu Oru Kadhal was dubbed and released in Telugu as Nuvvu Nenu Prema.
Seems T.N. Krishna literally took the criticism to heart. His passion for cinema cannot be questioned right!
