Vijay Antony has been a great draw with the Telugu audience, with his movies Bichagadu and Roshagadu. Vijay has created a separate fan base in the Telugu states, with his own style of acting and also as a music director. Killer, the dubbed version of the Tamil movie Kolaigaran, is another Vijay Antony show, with his choice of story being the highlight.
Movie Details:

Story:
Prabhakar (Vijay Antony) is summoned for the murders he committed, especially that of women.
Inspector Karthikeya (Arjun Sarja) is clueless when he hears Prabhakar say he will kill more people if he does not get justice. Dharani (Ashima Narwal) is a middle class woman who looks after her family with her job. Accidentally, she gets into contact of Prabhakar and they fall for each other. How does Officer Karthikeya solve the murder mystery and extract the truth behind the murder spree in which Prabhakar indulges?
Review:
Killer is a very finely crafted crime thriller and easily the best movie of Vijay Antony as an actor, after his stellar Bichagadu. Vijay brings in the vulnerability and poise of a man who is thrust into killing. The way director Andrew Louis crafts his movie into a cat and mouse game between the suspected and the cop is maintained intact with the background score of Simon K. King, who gives one of the best BGMs before the interval break.
Overall, the role of Arjun Sarja as the prime investigation officer adds strength to the already well written script. Vijay Antony knows his failings and plays to his strengths in the movie. He does not overdo any scene, as it acts as a hindrance to the film’s flow.
In totality, Killer is a neat entertainer to go and watch for an exciting weekend.
