The D.V.V. Danayya production was hit with roadblocks like Junior NTR and Ram Charan getting injured during shooting and British actress Daisy Edgar Jones backing out of the project.
However, like the title he has as ‘Darsaka Dheerudu‘ (the undeterred man,) Rajamouli continued his streak of scheduled shooting and sped up his pace to deliver RRR within the proposed deadline of July 30th, 2020.
Currently, the scenes involving both Junior NTR and Ram Charan are being filmed in Hyderabad, with huge sets erected for the stunt sequences. Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt joined team RRR.
