We know the Tamil movie 96, which celebrated pure, unadulterated love, is being remade in Telugu, with Samantha Akkineni and Sharwanand as the leads. The director of the original 96, Prem Kumar, is helming the remake too.
News is, the actress who played the teenage version of Trisha (Jaanu) is reprising her role in the Telugu version as well. Gouri Kishan, who played the role perfectly in Tamil, already began her shooting in Visakhapatnam.
Govind Vasantha, who scored music for the original, is also a part of the Telugu 96. Dil Raju is bankrolling this project.
96 is one of the most awaited films of 2019 for Samantha and Sharwanand fans.
