The collaboration between Tamannaah Bhatia and Prabhu Deva collaboration yielded Abhinetri, which was a horror comedy, one of its kind in Indian cinema with its gothic horror genre.
The sequel to Abhinetri, Abhinetri 2 is now going to release on May 31st, 2019. The sequel retains the main star cast, including the villain, Sonu Sood, with the new inclusion of Nanditha Shweta and Saptagiri in key roles.
The A.L. Vijay directorial will be released in Telugu by R. Ravindran and Abhishek Nama. The teaser has already generated positive response.
Shyam C.S. will provide the musical score, with Ayananka Bose of Duvvada Jagannadham (2018) fame wielding the camera.
