Can anyone forget the Siddu of Bommarillu or Sriram of Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana (NVNO) Siddharth became a household name in the Telugu states with his bubbly performances. This was to the extent that legendary actress Vanisri once commented, his role in NVNO was irreplaceable and she could not imagine any other actor in that role.
Recently Siddharth posted a selfie of his with Comedian Sunil and tweeted “Forever Best Friend” and remembered the days he worked with Sunil on the sets of Bommarillu (2006). On being questioned by netizens about his reentry into mainstream Telugu Cinema,he posted a warm message on his Twitter handle
“I will be back in Telugu, irrespective of what people say(?). Please give me 18 months time as I have movies with good content with me now. Can’t wait to greet you on the big screen (sic.)” Siddharth’s made his debut with the 2003 Shankar Productions’s venture, Boys (dubbed version) following which, he slowly won the hearts of Telugu cine goers with the Prabhu Deva directorial debut Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana in 2005, followed by Bommarillu in 2006, directed by Bhasker. He later became a national star with Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s Bollywood superhit, Rang De Basanti.
