Mehreen Kaur Pirzada proved her mettle as a competent actress in Pantham (2018,) where she was paired opposite Gopichand. Mehreen just bagged another movie with Gopichand, and she plays his love interest, in this Thiru directed action flick.
A source said Mehreen was on board as soon as she heard the script narration by Thiru. She also liked his working style, so there was no second thought in zeroing in on the script. The film also has a meaty role for Zareen Khan.
Mehreen was last seen in the Anil Ravipudi venture F2: Fun and Frustration, which was a
runaway hit in 2018. She is awaiting her Punjabi debut this year, DSP Dev, directed by
Mandeep Benipal.
