Synopsis:
Gundamma Katha – Gundamma (Suryakantam), a rich widow is full of ego and is partial. She ill-treats her stepdaughter, Lakshmi (Savitri) and makes her the maid of the house. She is partial to her daughter and wants her to get married to a rich man while for Lakshmi, she wanted a nobody to get married to her. However, fate had different plans. Figuring this out, two brothers Anji (NT Rama Rao)poses as a nobody to get married to Lakshmi while and Raja (Akkineni Nageswara Rao) poses as a rich man to marry Saroja. After this, the brothers teach a lesson to Gundamma and how do they do that is the essence of the story.
