Yash Fans Threaten MESCOM

Yash, the actor who is now known all over the globe owing to the huge success of KGF, is extremely happy. While the first chapter of KGF is nearing a successful run at the theatres for close to 100 days, the second chapter of KGF is gearing up to hit the floors.

Now, KGF Chapter 1 is all set for its premiere on Colors TV at 7:00 P.M., on Saturday, the 30th of March, 2019. Yash’s fans, who are eager to watch this movie on TV, threatened the MESCOM (Mangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited) office, to ensure the latter do not cut off the power supply on the evening when the premiere will be aired. MESCOM, which operates mainly in the Bhadravati taluk in Shivamogga district of Karnataka, is responsible for the supply and regulation of power in the areas which are a part of the Taluk. Apparently, there have been frequent power cuts in these areas, owing to political pressure.

News is, MESCOM cut off the power supply in the Mandya district, especially when Darshan and Yash were campaigning in those areas for Sumalatha. To create a hurdle in the campaign, the authorities meddled with the power supply. At the same time, the cable networks were also involved in causing problems. The enraged fans threatened these authorities stating, if there is a power cut during the airing of the premiere of KGF Chapter 1, they will destroy the offices of MESCOM and the cable operators.

The sources of these threatening letters were anonymous and discreet. However, the Executive Engineer of MESCOM in Bhadravati confirmed the news to the media and said, they did receive an anonymous letter.

With such an enormous fan base and such loyal fans, KGF Chapter 2 is sure to receive an even better response than KGF Chapter 1. While KGF Chapter 1 is grossing close to four times the initial budget of the movie, it is evident KGF Chapter 2 will be an even bigger hit at the box office, in terms of its fan base.
