Mahesh Babu, the most desirable man of the Telugu film industry, is turning out to be a smart businessman. The actor is busy expanding his areas of interest and investing his time in other movie related businesses.
Mahesh Babu is now collaborating with Sony Pictures International Production, India’s largest production house. Mahesh Babu’s production house, GMB Entertainment, and Sony Pictures are coming together to bankroll an inspiring project titled, Major. This movie is based on a National Security Guard, Sandeep Unnikrishnan, the brave soldier who lost his life during the attacks of 26/11 on the Taj Mahal Hotel in Mumbai. Major is going to feature Adivi Sesh in the lead role, while Sashi Kiran Tikka of Goodachari fame is going to take up the direction.

While the work on this project is going on in full swing, the heads of Sony Pictures and GMB Entertainment are super proud to produce this project together. Major is going to be out in Hindi and Telugu. This is the first time Sony Pictures is venturing into the Telugu movie industry.
Major is going to commence shooting during the summer of 2019 and is slated for a grand release in 2020. Let us hope Major is going to be inspiring and motivating and meets the audience’s expectations.
