Amala Paul, the actress who is a very familiar name in the South Indian film industry owing to her pleasing personality, is now going to feature in India’s first ever forensic crime thriller.
Her recent flick Ratsasan was a huge hit in Tamil and is now being remade into Telugu. The Telugu remake of this project is yet to be titled and is featuring Anupama Parameswaran in the lead role. Amala Paul is one of the few South Indian actresses who dares to explore the unexplored and works beyond the realms of commercial cinema and works with different genres.
Anoop Panicker and Abhilash Pillai are the directors of Amala Paul’s upcoming thriller, which is likely to be titled Cadaver. She will be seen as a forensic surgeon who uses her intellect and intuition to solve crimes.
Sources say, the story is inspired by Dr. B. Umadathan, a renowned former Kerala police surgeon. The surgeon was consulted a couple of times during the scripting phase.
Cadaver is all set to hit the floors on the 25th of March, 2019 in Chennai.
