Varmaa – Dhruv Vikram Starrer Gets A New Addition

Dhruv Vikram, the actor who is playing the role of Arjun Reddy in Varmaa, the Tamil version remake of Arjun Reddy, is back in the headlines. The makers of Varmaa were not happy with the way the project turned out and decided to reshoot it.

The roles of the lead actors and characters were shuffled around in the reshot version, while the male lead remained the same. Banita Sandhu, the Bollywood beauty, is now going to feature opposite Dhruv in Varmaa. Banita is making a debut in Kollywood with this project. Mukesh R. Mehta’s banner, E4 Entertainment, is bankrolling this Vikram starrer, which is all set for a grand release during June 2019. Radhan is composing music for Varmaa, while Ravi K.Chandran is handling the cinematography.

Ravi K. Chandran’s son, Santhana Krishnan, is currently working on the Hindi remake of Arjun Reddy, titled Kabir Singh. This project is featuring Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani in the lead roles.

Arjun Reddy is a cult movie as it inspired many movie makers to remake the project and add their native touch to it. Varmaa and Kabir Singh are the outcomes of such inspiration.

Let us hope Dhruv and Banita reflect the same deep emotions depicted in Arjun Reddy.
